MatrixStream HD Streaming Over the Internet Demo Videos
The following videos will demo basic functionalities of MatrixStream MX 1 HD IP set top box user interface. The video shows a live stream from a live server on the Internet to MatrixStream's MX 1 IP STB and play it on a 50 inch HDTV. The video will show basic user interface navigation functionalities and alpha blending functions.
You will need to use a player such as the VLC player to play the video. You can download a copy of the VLC player by clicking here. Either that, you will need your video player to have support for h.264 codec, an aac codec and MP4 container.
Description of the HD Streaming Over the Internet Demo
The following demo will show the following:
- Demo is showing live videos streaming right over the public Internet. Those videos are not stored locally on the same network.
- Set top box is connected to an Ethernet over Powerline connection and then to a router that is connected to the Internet on a 2.5 Mbps broadband connection.
- TV is a 52 inch HDTV.
- Demo showing HD videos and SD videos in two separate demos.
- The video will show some of the basic menus of MatrixStream IPTV STB software with the following features:
- How to switch between VOD and live TV
- How fast video loads when a request is made to play a VOD video or a live TV channel.
- Speed of response on channel changing. Notice how fast channel changes and how fast video loads.
- Alpha blending feature where menus are overlay over existing video in the background.
- Notice the quality of the video in the HD demo as well as the SD demo. The 3rd demo allows you to download MatrixStream PC player and see the live demo for yourself over the Internet.
Please right click on the link and SAVE AS the videos onto your computer and play it using VLC to play the videos.
MatrixCast PC demo. See MatrixStream's MatrixCast Streaming right on your PC. Go to MatrixStream partner MyTVPal (http://www.mytvpal.com) and download and install the PC player. Make sure you click on the Video On Demand logo to see MatrixCast Streaming videos. All the live TV streams are not MatrixCast so the quality will be much lower.
